Pohang Beach Marathon 10k Run

I ran another 10k in Korea this past Sunday. I wasn't as excited about this race as the one in Gyeongju mainly because I was more focused on swimming this month. I did do some running before to prepare my body but I didn't train as much as last time.

this is from my GPS watch; an analysis of my run! crazy technology!
My goal was to run faster than my past time, which was 1:05. I am happy to announce that I did reach that goal and ran it in 1:01!!! I was shooting for exactly 1 hour but I was glad I wasn't slower than last time.

The race was along the coast in Pohang so it was a bit windy at first. We got to see some nice views along the way. We got a shirt, a medal, and free food also.

I had fun; it was good to put my body to some intense work. I was feeling more exhausted this time but I guess it was because I was running faster and working my body more.
I also made some new friends from this race. They are all TaLK teachers but I never got a chance to talk to them before this event.

after the finish line!

Fighting!
